StarFish Manuscript Challenged by Rain

Ok. So yeah. I was shooting one of the videos for StarFish and I left my manuscript outside for one night. Just ONE night. I have a deadline for publication in September 2016 and left the manuscript of StarFish outside for one night. Just one night. To avoid writer's block I write out by hand the text of the novel. For me it is far better than sitting in front of a laptop and tapping keys. The Muse speaks differently to me when I write with a pen or pencil that when I tap keys.

So it rains in New England like it's not rained in awhile. For my garden I am grateful, but then there is the manuscript. There is that. I came out on my porch at 4 AM to start writing and could not find my notebook with the manuscript. Where is it, I thought. Then I remembered.

Seriously I thought. I retrieve it and find this water logged notebook - hardly readable. I remembered being grateful in all things. But it's all wet, through and through. Put on George Harrison "Here Comes the Sun." Stayed grateful and no 12 hours later I can almost read it. So there is that. I've found in life whatever you teach, you will be tested in life on no matter what. Not sure I passed this test. So am I just writing this stuff or am I really practicing and doing it? Am I a hypocrite or really doing it?

Got to say I do try. But I do not always get it spot on. Yup, there is that.
