Inspiration: I AM the Storm

It's a Thursday and I awoke this morning following my usual routine. Made coffee and then I went out onto my porch to greet the sun as it arose. But there were clouds and a heavy mist in the air. I recited in m heart my diet of positive statements including I am grateful. I've got an eleven to ten shift today and I am looking forward to it. It is a day of great opportunities. Then I heard my cat meowing. Somehow I locked her in the shed last night, so I went and opened the door. It then occurred to me I should update the Inspiration page on the site. I chose this image from a creative commons online site and part of the dialogue from StarFish - The Evolution of People At Work. It's when Jax is having a conversation with Simon.

It's always good to start with the Why. So I will give you my brief thoughts. When you watch the video I did on Inspiration and the part that it takes in the StarFish storyline, I have found in my own journey here that it is important for me to feed on a steady diet of inspiring words and concepts. I can either wait for them to come to me ... they usually don't ... because we tend to live and swim in a sea of negativity during this walk on Earth. So instead, I bring the inspiring words and concepts to each day and I begin in the mornings ... carry them with me throughout the day. I find this habit has made a difference. In the end, the image below and Jax' words describe what we each face at work and at home. Each of us is the storm when we bring inspiring words into each day. When we live those words it positively impacts friends, co-workers and family. It's made a difference to me.

Paint the canvas of today well. Make it a masterpiece.
